Biography

Ezra is a third year co-mentored student and also a member of the Arias lab at MCDB/UCSB. He is an avid hiker and surfer. Ezra is interested in the biochemical nature of viral genome and protein interactions with the host cell. He is currently interested in characterizing the biochemical significance of the 3' UTR of the Zika Virus genome. More information on Ezra's research as a Gorman Student Scholar can be found here.
