Biography

Alexander is a third year student that joined the Acosta-Alvear lab in the Spring of 2017. He plans to pursue a career in the medical field. Alexander is interested in cell biology and he is fascinated by the inner complexities of the cell and understanding how each process and system comes together in unison to create a functioning, continuously adapting human body. His current project focuses on engineering genetically-encoded toxic RNA constructs.
