Biography
I am now a fourth-year undergraduate studying Biological Sciences in the Letters and Sciences Honors Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). My work in the Rothman Lab involves analyzing ELT-7 transdifferentiation and transorganogensis in C.elegans. I have been and am continuing literature review works under Tsunghan Yeh (graduate student) with Barrett’s Esophagus (BE) and pharyngeal pumping. My responsibility is researching comparisons between vertebrae and invertebrate transdifferentiation and its significance to the mechanism of BE. Now I am currently beginning mutagenesis screening to assist with the work of SNP mapping (R) and RNAi screening.
